Lap time
Lap time is for children ages 6 months to 35 months and their parent/caregiver. In the class children and adults are lead in finger plays, chants, nursery rhymes, and songs.

High School Book Club
The book we will be discussing is Au Revior Crazy European Chick by Joe Scheiber. We will be meeting at the public high school during both lunch periods. The time listed incorporates both discussions.

3/5 Book Club
We meet at 6:30pm in the community room of the Portland District Library. The book is titled Dead End in Norvelt by Jack Gantos. It is this years Newbery Award winner! Extra copies are available at the children's reference desk.

T.A.B. Meeting
Our next Teen Advisory Board Meeting will be held on Friday, April 13th from 3-4. We will be discussing many upcoming events and programs for the Teen Summer Reading Program. All kids in grades 6th through 12th are invited. Pizza and Soda are provided.

Earth Day Party
Come and celebrate Earth Day this week at the Portland District Library. We will be reading stories, planting plants, and watching a short movie. This drop in program*, will be on Wednesday, April 11th from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. *Drop in program means that your child can come and go anytime during the program.
